Pineapple was not to be out done and put on her cutie-pie look.
Then we all left. Here are Kate, Jed, Green Hornet and Grandma headed to the black berry fields, with Happy Days Malt Shop in the background.
Uncle Jed and Pineapple picking blackberries at the weigh station up South Bank Road on the Rogue River.
Mama Kate and Daddy Jed do a diaper change in the trunk of their car. Never seen that done before!!!
After we processed the blackberries we went up to Port Orford for a try at crabbing. Armed with two traps, three rings and a bunch of turkey backs and necks, we set our taste buds on crab salad for dinner.
Baiting a crab ring.
With the traps and rings over the side all we had left to do was watch, wait and call, "Here crabbie, crabbie."
After pulling up half a dozen female crabs that we had to throw back......
...we gave the sea gulls a good feed of our remaining bait and went home empty handed.
A very fun day, topped off by a dinner of left overs and an evening of visiting.
