THREE PIECES OF JULY: THIRD PIECE (H) 8/2/2013

August 2, Friday.   The last day of our Cowley Family Reunion.  The last grand children picked out their stuffed animal to take home.....

....by now, they were all out in their bins in the garage, awaiting the next visit of grand kids.  But Batman and Pineapple found them and got their pick.

The the their car was loaded.....I mean really loaded!  And off they went to Lodi to pick up their dog, Tucker that had been visiting the other grand parents and then a long trip back to Idaho!!

Ann and Wayne stood there in the middle of our street with smiles on our faces and tears on our cheeks.  Months in the preparation, several weeks of family being with us and now, boom!  We were all alone again.  Parenthood and grandparenthood is a bitter-sweet piece of life.
Bobby slept for two days and nights, we took a few naps and then we began putting our house back into the order for just the two of us.
